Mr. Guragain served for the government of Nepal as ED (Executive Director) at YSEF (Youth and Small-Entrepreneur Self-Employment Fund, Ministry of Finance) where I was able to create self-employment for youth and managed Rs 4 billion of the Youth Self-employment Fund. Before joining YSEF, he worked as part of the mainstream banking sector in Nepal, especially in Business and strategic planning, human resource management, Monitoring and Evaluation and training & development. While with RBB, he was extensively involved in restructuring of RBB in various aspects of HR management for around 11 years which observed improved efficiency of the bank. In addition to full time career, he contributed to various non-state agencies such as World Bank, ADB, PTA, RIDA, CPReC and NEAT as a consultant, especially in resource management, education, planning, monitoring and evaluation. He has completed his Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, U.S.A, 1993.
